Roberto Dias was born in Brazil in the Rio de Janeiro city he started his career dancing in several professional dance companies in Brazil and he danced in famous operas such as Aida de Verdi, Porgy and Bess and Ravel Bolero he studied ballet, modern dance in Alvin Ailey “ Leslie Horton style “, Martha Graham, Laban and Jose Limon technique, Jazz (Bob Fosse, Marly Tavares and Luigi jazz dance style ), Contemporary he worked on television and traveled the world doing performances and several famous theaters.
Cutting-edge Jazz, Contemporary and Modern Dance instructor with a successful record of accomplishment in training pre-professional dance students. Inspired by his successful local and international experience as a teacher, choreographer and dancer, Roberto brings a unique ability to motivate, engage and connect with aspiring dancers. Additionally, Roberto offers students real-world insight into the professional dance world.
Mr. Dias and Artistic Director of the Brazarte Dance Company in Miami. The Brazarte company was awarded 6 Oscars for the best Brazilian dance company in the United States at the International Brazilian press Award. Mr. Dias has been teaching at several schools in the Miami area.
